When was the last time you got a new customer from LinkedIn?
You’ve optimized your profile, joined groups, build a connection list…and still no customers.
You are a busy entrepreneur. You’ve invested a lot of time into LinkedIn. You feel like it hasn’t paid off because you haven’t gotten a customer from your efforts.
It’s frustrating because everyone keeps telling you to join LinkedIn. Because you’re so busy, you’ve been spending your “off” time working on LinkedIn. Now you feel like throwing in the towel because you wasted time you could have spent with family, friends or working on another way to grow your business.
You need a plan and a strategy to make LinkedIn work for you.
Welcome to the LinkedIn Strategy Masterclass: LinkedIn Strategies for Busy Entrepreneurs
The LinkedIn Strategy Masterclass is a workshop developed specifically for entrepreneurs. It’s designed not only with your business needs in mind, but also your time.
This workshop goes beyond the basics of LinkedIn. By the end of the workshop, you’ll walk away with a strategic LinkedIn marketing plan that will engage your connections, develop you as an expert in your field and do so without taking hours away from your business.

What you need to do to be successful in this Masterclass
The Masterclass is only for entrepreneurs serious about using LinkedIn to grow their business. The course starts as soon as you receive the materials on the 15th. Between the February 15th and March 6th, you must review the materials and begin the exercises. On March 6th, we’ll review Unit One. The following weeks will cover Units Two-Four.
To be successful, as soon as you sign up for this workshop, you need to schedule time in your calendar to devote to doing the work. That’s why we’ve given you a couple weeks to adjust your schedule, make the time and prepare for the class.
Unlike many of the teleworkshops you have attended in the past, this is a real class. You are expected to complete the assignments, attend all four sessions and participate in each workshop. If this isn’t the type of learning you’re looking for you can stop reading right here.
This workshop series has been designed to engage all learning styles to ensure knowledge retention. When you do not complete one part of a module, you decrease your effectiveness with the material.
What’s covered in the LinkedIn Strategy Masterclass?
The class is broken down in the four components of an effective LinkedIn Strategy.
Unit One – You’ll create a buyer personae for your best customer. By the end of this unit, you’ll know who they are from the inside out. The activities will require you go deeper into your ideal customer than you have before. Then you’ll analyze your current connection list on LinkedIn and classify it through the use of tags to determine your prospective customers (based on your buyer personae), your referral sources and other categories.
Unit Two – You’ll streamline your engagement on LinkedIn. You’ll review the groups you belong tom the companies you follow and your connection list. You determine how often you’ll engage, where and with whom.
Unit Three – You’ll build a content library to share with your connection list. Whether you’re creating content or finding content on the web, you’ll create a content library you’ll use in marketing campaigns with specific goals attached to them.
Unit Four – In the final unit you’ll pull it all together and create a 3 month strategic communication, engagement and connection plan. This will include an editorial calendar, and specific “networking” time scheduled into your calendar for LinkedIn. The plan will be linked to specific goals that measurable and realistic.
How can this help you?
Only about 20% of LinkedIn users are effectively using the platform to grow their business. Most people set up a profile and walked away.
The secret is having a well thought out plan that is realistically built into your existing calendar.
You are great at getting things done. You wouldn’t be in business if you weren’t. The problem arises when you aren’t sure what exactly needs to be done. Then you start to waffle.
What is waffling?
It’s jumping on LinkedIn with no goals, strategy or game plan. Then you find yourself 2 hours later with nothing to show for it.
With a plan you’ll know what you need to do, how long you’re going to spend on LinkedIn and you’re end goal. With these three pieces in place you’ll not only achieve your goal, but you will do it in less time. This leaves you more time to work on other areas of your business.
